Day 1
International Flight
Depart on your flight to
Rome
Day 2
Rome
Morning arrival in
Rome - you will be met by
your local English speaking tour escort and transferred to your hotel. Rome
is one of the most ancient cities in Europe, founded over 2,700 years ago, and
has retained layers of buildings spanning over two millennia. Lunch near the
Coliseum. Embark upon a tour of Ancient
Rome,
including the Coliseum, and discover the birthplace of modern
civilization. You will also see the Forum, the Capitolini and Piazza
Venezia. Dinner at the hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 3
Rome
Sing at Mass in the
Vatican or nearby cathedral.
Free for the remainder of the day to discover the famous sights such as many
famous churches, the Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon.
Be sure to find Trevi Fountain to toss your coins into the gorgeous
baroque structure to ensure your return to Rome. The Spanish Steps are
also easy to reach where you can watch Romans attend to their daily routines.
Dinner at the hotel. (B, D)
Day 4
Rome
Free day to relax, shop and explore the city. Plenty of time
to visit the Vatican
once again, tour museums or other churches. Dinner at or near hotel.
This evening sing a joint concert with a local choir. (B, D)
Day 5
Florence
Early departure. Wind through the enchanting Tuscan
countryside. Enjoy the serene atmosphere of a monastery and listen to
the monks singing Mass in Gregorian chant. After the Mass, the choir
will have a chance to entertain the monks with their song. Afternoon
stop in the town of
San Gimignano,
famous for its medieval walls that you may walk and its many towers. Continue
to Florence. Dinner at the hotel. (B, D)

Day 6
Florence
After breakfast, transfer to
Pisa. Sing at
Pisa
Basilica (pending confirmation) for
Mass.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch and shopping. Perhaps you will climb the
leaning tower, one of
Europe’s most famous curiosities. Return to
Florence
for free afternoon. This evening sing an organized concert to a
receptive crowd in a cathedral or local village. (B, D)
Day 7
Florence
Sing at Mass at a Florentine (pending confirmation) Cathedral.
Free day in Florence. See the famous Ponte Vecchio - once a bridge that
housed butchers and now housing elegant gold shops, Piazza Signoria—where
many replicas of famous masterpieces are located, the Duomo and world
famous Santa Croce—where Michelangelo and Galileo are buried.
Perhaps you will visit the
Accademia Museum
with the original David and the Uffizi, one of
the most notable European museums. Late afternoon departure for
Venice.
Dinner and overnight Venice Mestre. (B, D)
Day 8
Venice
Transfer to St. Mark’s Square by boat motorlaunch. See
historical
Venice including St. Mark’s Square, the Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. After the tour, the group will sing (pending
confirmation) at St. Mark’s Basilica. The afternoon can be spent
roaming the beautiful alleys of
Venice
or taking a boat out to a nearby island. One of the best ways to see
Venice is to take a public transportation boat. Farewell dinner at or
near hotel. (B, D)
Day 9
Depart for US
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport.
You will arrive home on the same day. (B)
